A Cycle Around the Baltic States of Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia in 2019

I am currently in the very early stages of looking at a possible ride around the Baltic states of Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia, tentatively timed for June 2019. The ride would be self guided and around 16 to 18 days in duration. It will begin in Vilnius and finish in Tallinn. It would be easy then to continue your adventure by catching the ferry across to Helsinki to explore the Scandinavian countries. Russia is also close at hand if you would like to be even more adventurous.

If this sounds like something you might be interested in, please contact me now to register your interest. Since first announcing these plans a few weeks ago I have such an enormous response that it is already looking certain to go ahead. In fact it is looking like we may have to form two groups. If you want to be included, NOW is the time to register your interest.

    Hi Dennis,

We are 2 UK riders who were wondering if it might be possible to join your planned Baltic States bike tour in June 2019.

We were cycling along the Loire valley in September 2015 and we kept coming across the Ghostriders as they were travelling part of the same route as us. We were quite envious at times as we were carrying all of our luggage as we were cycling from chambre d’hôtes to chambre d’hôtes. We are definitely in your age group as I am 63 and my husband is 66.

So far we have done several bike tours in France, e.g. The Loire from Nevers to Bordeaux, the Atlantic to the Mediteranean via the canal de Garonne and the canal de Midi and the French Mediterranean coast from Beziers to Italy but we would be very interested in the chance of joining a larger group and exploring countries that are more outside of our comfort zone.

    What do you think?

Looking forward to hearing from you

    Very best regards
    Chris and Gerry Sanders
