Great Southern Rail Trail

We normally start this ride at Meeniyan and continue along the trail till a drinks stop at Fish Creek. From this point the trail climbs gently for about 10 km giving panoramic views down over Wilson’s Prom. From this point the trail is basically downhill all the way to Foster. The surface is fine and well formed making it suitable for most types of bikes (although road bikes are not recommended). The distance from Meeniyan to Foster is approx 35 km.

At Foster you can get a good counter lunch at the local pub, although prices are reasonably high and service is a little slow.
