Special Christmas Warby Trail Ride – Dec 14th

Each year the Ghostriders celebrate Christmas by holding a special Christmas ride along the Warby Trail. This event was held on Thursday Dec 14th and took the form of a Breakfast ride, starting from Wandin at 7 am in the morning. It was easily the biggest Christmas ride we have ever conducted with over 40 people in attendance. After the ride we had a fantastic breakfast at the Carriage Cafe in Seville. This was also the opportunity to thank David Yates for his wonderful efforts over the past twelve months. We also elected the new King of the Trail for 2018. For the first time ever this award was shared by Karlo Lavicka and Heinz Scherer. Both of these riders have been exemplary in their contributions to our cycling group over the past years. Karlo will serve as King for the first six months with Heinz as the deputy, then for the next six months the roles will reverse.
